Born: 1947, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Education: In 1964 he began studying at the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City. He studied at the National School of Plastic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Experience: Sebastian is a member of the World Arts Forum Council based in the city of Geneva, Switzerland. He is a full-time researcher at UNAM, a member of the Consultative Council of the National Council for Culture and the Arts and a beneficiary of the National System of Creators 1994-1996. In 1994 he was guest of honor during the Art Triennial of Cairo, Egypt.

Shows: He has made more than 120 individual exhibitions in Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, England, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Canada, Finland, United States, France, Japan, Switzerland and Venezuela.

Collections: His works can be found in various places, from his work on Caballito in Mexico City to his largest work, known as La Puerta de Chihuahua in the city of Chihuahua. It has works in other cities such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, Ciudad Juarez, Torreon, Villahermosa, Morelia, Xalapa, Colima, Manzanillo, Tecomán, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Puebla, Kingston, Buenos Aires, Havana, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Albuquerque, Denver, Englewood, New York, San Antonio, Bern, Reikjavik, Hakone, Nagoya, Osaka and of course in the University City of its Alma Mater.
