Jan HENDRIX

Born: 1949, in Maasbree, Holland. He has lived and worked in Mexico since 1978.

Education: Studied at Ateliers 63, Haarlem, and Jan van Eyck Akademie in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

Experience: Visiting Professor at the Akademie voor Kunst en Industrie, Enschede, The Netherlands (1977); the Plastic Research and Experimentation Center, Mexico City; Jan Van Eyck Akademie, Maastricht (1983 and 1986); and the Center for the Arts of San Agustín, Oaxaca (2010 and 2011).

Shows: France, Portugal, Norway, Iceland and Mexico (1971-1976), Kenya (1990), Egypt (1991), China (1996), Australia (1996, 2001, 2003). ), 2009 and 2011), Turkey (1998), Ireland (1999), Yugoslavia (2001) and the Canary Islands (2006).
