José Sacal was born in the city of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, in 1944.
Studies. 1965-69 Goes to the National Institute of Fine Arts in Cuernavaca, Morelos Mexico. 1969-72 Attends the Institute of Arts "La Esmeralda" Distrito Federal, Mexico. 1979-82 Go to the Old Mill of Sto. Domingo (INBA) Federal District, Mexico. 1983-85 Goes to the Workshop of Enrique Altamirano, Federal District, Mexico.
