Born: In Cuba.

Education: Studied and graduated from the National School of Art of Havana as a Professor of Painting and Drawing in 1972. In 1978 he graduated from the School of Law at the University of Matanzas. He has made numerous personal and collective exhibitions in countries such as Spain, the United States, France, Germany and Cuba. He has offered talks and conferences at Ann Arbor University in Michigan, at the New School of Research in New York, as well as at the University of Miami.

He recently offered three master classes at Arizona State University West where he also presented his series: "Crossing Line", which deals with the issue of emigration. Currently teaches drawing at Miami Dade College. He has a work in the collection of the Maria Zambrano Museum that can be seen in the Museum of America in Madrid.
